Ms. Valencia
Welcome! Bienvenidos!
I am Ms. Valencia. I am the 4th grade ELL teacher. I have the privilege to teach such wonderful students. A little bit about me, I am from Phoenix. As a child, I went to Roosevelt Elementary. I went to South Mountain High School and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have two children of own, a daughter and a son. I love teaching in the Fowler School District.
Everyday we work hard together to understand all the skills we need in order to be successful in the 5th grade. In 4th grade we are preparing to become independent learners. Reading and Math are very important subjects. It is important to read on a daily basis. It is important to know all multiplication facts up to the 12's. Let's not forget Science and Social Studies! In Science, we study the interactions between human populations, natural hazards, and the environment. In Social Studies, we study the history of Arizona and the Southwest from its earliest civilizations to modern times.
I'm very excited to be a part of an outstanding school such as Sunridge! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
